Man arrested over Lyrup house trespass

POLICE have arrested a local man after allegedly forcing entry into two residences in Lyrup.
A 35-year-old man, from Lyrup, was arrested on 9 December after he was reported for entering two houses overnight, one on Gallary Terrace, after 9.20pm and the second, on Thayne Terrace, just after 2am. 
Residents of both houses were confronted by an unknown person, who was allegedly looking for another person, before he left the premises. No one inside the houses was physically harmed. 
The man was charged with trespassing in a residence knowing another person to be present, was refused bail and appeared at the Berri Magistrates Court on 10 December.
