FOR the second time in as many weeks, thousands of Riverlanders are without power following a spring storm.
More than 3500 homes in Renmark and surrounding areas lost power at about 4pm on Saturday, following torrential rain, strong winds and hail.
The storm brought down trees, caused flash flooding and caused fallen power lines.
SA Power Networks is currently estimating that power will be restored between 6.45pm and 9.15pm.
More than 5000 residents in Loxton, Waikerie and surrounding towns lost power on Thursday, October 28, following a storm, with some residents remaining without power for more than 24 hours.
Residents are advised to stay 10m away from fallen power lines and report them to SA Power Networks by calling 13 13 66.
UPDATE: SA Power Networks is now estimating power will not be restored to homes in Renmark until midnight on Saturday.
