Police are currently at the scene of a serious crash at Waikerie, with the Sturt Highway likely to be closed for several hours.
Just after 1pm, patrols and emergency crews were called to the Sturt Highway spot, about 500m west of the Old Blanchetown Road, after two cars crashed.
The Sturt Highway is currently closed between Hardy Road and Old Blanchetown Road. Heavy vehicles are being diverted at Maggea Road (west bound) and Hunter Road, Paisley (east bound).
