GRANTS are now available for Riverland not-for-profit organisations working with local young people, aiming to engage them with local projects.
The Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR) has opened up applications for grants of up to $10,000 available for regional organisations, with the objective of kickstarting projects, based on ideas identified at the annual ABC Heywire regional Youth Summit, and inspired by this year’s winners.
The ideas address some of the most critical issues affecting remote, rural and regional youth today, as workshopped by the 38 young participants at the week-long event, held in early February.
This year, the projects need to adopt, adapt and respond to one of the following ideas:
