LOCAL businesses and community groups can begin registering floats for the 2024 Renmark Christmas Pageant. 
A new website for the Renmark Christmas Pageant has been launched in preparation for the 2024 event, to be held on Friday 6 December. 
Renmark Christmas Pageant co-ordinator Neil Martinson said being able to complete float and other registrations online was a more efficient process.  
“Registration can be done online for floats, food stalls, and walking groups interested in being part of the pageant, plus entries for the Decorate a Bike, and Best Business Private and Rural Christmas Lights competitions,” 
“Insurance policies can also be uploaded to the website.” 
Mr Martinson said the committee was also seeking new volunteers – or ‘Santa’s helpers’ who can also be registered online – to support the 2024 pageant. 
“They can provide assistance on the night with various preparation and cleaning responsibilities,” he said. 
“We want to make sure Renmark is presented in a nice position on the Saturday morning.” 
The pageant food court will again be located around the Taylor Riverfront Precinct, with the pageant route also to remain the same, however sideshows will re-locate to the Harvey Norman carpark. Face painting and local photographer Grant Schwartzkopff is also set to take photos of attendees with Santa inside the store. 
“Harvey Norman, as a major sponsor, will donate one photo with Santa, printed off free of charge for each attendee,” Mr Martinson said.
