Local enthusiast lands Willys win in Mildura

LOCAL car enthusiast Graham Matthews tasted success at the Australian Willys Nationals in Mildura.

His Australian-built Holden Willys sedan received the Best Willys Overall Award, after scoring the most votes from all entrants involved.

“It probably wasn’t the most detailed of all the Willys present, but its overall appearance made it stand out amongst the others,” Mr Matthews said.

The event attracted 35 Willys from across Australia, with WA and Tasmania the only states not represented.
