THE elves are excited to announce that Elf Magic was voted 2025 Mid Murray Council Event of the Year. 
The award was presented on Australia Day, at a special community celebration at Mannum.  We are very proud of the work we have done to bring this activity to life in 2023, and then run an even more successful event in 2024.  
Visitors to Elf Magic are always amazed that participation is free, with lots of take-home goodies from the many Elf Stations.  
Elf Magic could not have happened without enormous community support.  From businesses, to countless individuals who donated money, gift table items and time, the Elves would like to thank each and every one of you for helping to make this event possible.  
‘Cinnamon’, also known as Shirley Hissey, whose imagination sparked Elf Magic, said in her Australia Day acceptance speech that “volunteers make things happen” and Elf Magic is a testament to this. 
Preparations are now under way for Elf Magic 2025, to be held on Morgan Pageant Day, Saturday 6 December.

We are looking to recruit more Elves who can assist throughout the year, on Pageant Day, or both. No experience is necessary.
The Elves would also like to acknowledge and congratulate Morgan local Phil Reed, who was named 2025 Mid Murray Council Citizen of the Year.
